Bishop CE Brown III

“A Man and Leader After God’s Own Heart”-  Clarence E. Brown III was born December 31st, 1977 in Chicago, IL to Doris E. Ducksworth and Clarence E. Brown Sr. At an early age Clarence accepted Christ in his life, not knowing that one Sunday morning on July 3rd, 2005 at 5am God would implant a vision of preaching in his life.

Clarence grew up as a member of Jericho M.B. Church starting from the age of 5, under the pastorate of the late Rev. Lewis Johnson until he passed and continued to serve under his grandfather Rev. Charlie Grant. While yet being a member of New Jericho, in the year of 2006 Pastor Grant noticed that there was Ministry being birthed out of Clarence. Afterwards there was a trial period of watching and waiting that Clarence had to endure. Then the Lord impressed upon Pastor Charlie Grant to License Clarence on January 7th, 2007 and also to ordain him as a Minister on April 27th, 2008. Clarence became a constituent/ servant of an array of gifts and talents while serving faithfully for 29 years, ranging from cleaning toilets to operating as assistant pastor.

On August 23rd, 2011 God founded and instructed Clarence E. Brown III to become pastor and organizer of Abundant Blessings Church right in the living room of he and his wife’s home with only 6 people in which God is adding souls to daily. His hands started out playing the drums, then playing the piano, and now with those same hands he is praying, laying hands on the sick, and also VERY passionate about reaching out to the community of Englewood along with ALL of God’s people throughout the World.

Bishop Brown is beyond blessed to have Archbishop William Hudson III, of The Powerhouse Chicago & Chief Prelate of Pilgrim Assemblies International, as his Pastor & Spiritual Covering. He has been serving faithfully alongside his Spiritual Father since 2010 as lead servant for the Pastoral Care Ministry. On Saturday, July 21st, 2018, God allowed Archbishop Hudson to Consecrate and Elevate Pastor Brown to the office of “Episcopal Vicar” which is known also as an Overseer of God’s Church. And on July 22nd, 2022, there was yet another elevation upon E.V. Brown to now Bishop in The Lord’s Church….. Bishop Brown serves on the Midwest Leadership Board and also is the Bishop of Ministries within Pilgrim Assemblies International.

Not only is Bishop Brown helping to save lives spiritually, he’s also saving lives naturally for the Chicago Fire Department as a Firefighter/ Inspector. Due to his high energy for God, some call him the “Fire Starter.” Bishop Brown was nominated in 2019 as Chairman to the 007th District Englewood Faith Based Executive Board, where he serves and leads other spiritual leaders in helping to bring economic change to the community of Englewood. He is also a 2012 graduate of Dr. Bill Winston’s, Living Word School of Ministry and is currently studying at Northern Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity.
